Our History
Explore the rich legacy of Nazrul Islam Hall and the alumni who have shaped its history.
Building Bridges Since 1952
Nazrul Islam Hall, originally known as South Hostel, was established in the early 1950s to accommodate senior students of Ahsanullah Engineering College (now BUET). The hall was later renamed after the national poet of Bangladesh, Kazi Nazrul Islam.
Over the decades, the hall has produced thousands of distinguished engineers who have contributed significantly to the development of Bangladesh and the world. Many of our alumni hold leadership positions in renowned organizations worldwide.
The Nazrul Islam Hall Alumni Association was formed to maintain the bond between former students and the institution, to support current students, and to contribute to the advancement of engineering education in Bangladesh.
